Toddler Baby – Daycare Advice
Making the decision to put your child in daycare can be a very tough choice. Most daycares have a pickup time, drop off time and also make the children do everything on a schedule. It is true that kids in childcare centers have more infections than kids that stay at home. Children that are exposed to these viruses and bacteria early on are much less likely to develop allergies than other children.
If you send your children to daycare, they will be taught many different skills, such as storytelling, dancing and singing. With daycare, you know that people are always there to look after your children. If you get a nanny, your child won’t be developing these skills as quickly.
At a good quality childcare center, the staff members are usually trained in child education and child development. If your child gets sick, you also will have to stay at home. Overall, daycare is great if you pick a good center. For children aged 25 to 30 months there should be one caregiver to every four kids. For children aged 31 to 35 months there should be one caregiver to every five kids. For children aged four and five there should be one caregiver to every eight kids.

Baby Toddlers – Discipline for Toddlers
As in most parenting situations, there is no one-size-fits-all method of discipline for toddlers. Parents may find that the more they rely on one single method, the less effective that method becomes. Try some of these techniques and pay close attention to your child’s reaction. Be as consistent as possible, but remain flexible when your method of choice isn’t working any longer.
Redirection
If your toddler is throwing sand at a playmate, remove him from the sandbox and offer a ball instead.
Distraction
Distraction is similar to redirection but instead of focusing on similar activities, choose activities that are unrelated or opposite of the behavior your child is exhibiting. Your child comes in and starts dumping buckets of toys.
Ignoring
Your toddler immediately repeats you.
Natural Consequences
Let your child experience the consequences of his actions whenever you can. Use “If-Then” statements. Remove privileges or toys if this motivates your child.
Time Out
Time out is often used as a punishment. Time out provides the much needed practice involved in learning this skill. Use when your child is outwardly exhibiting anger or is out of control. Then physically lead your child to a time-out area. If your child is doing damage to property, people, pets or self, quickly remove your child from the situation into a time out.

Toddler Kids – The Differences between Parenting Difficult Toddlers versus Troubled Kids
During the toddler years, parents often deal with the stresses of screaming kids, temper tantrums, and irrational demands.
Beyond the age of 6, children become quite capable of appreciating their responsibilities. Parents need to enforce realistic punishment at the time of the bad behavior, or else the toddler won’t understand the connection between the behavior and the consequences.
Parents can also learn influential language skills when their children are quite young, with a goal of learning how to influence the mood and behavior of the children. The key starting point for using these influence skills on children is to “enter your child’s world“. I believe that many child behavior issues are the result of kids not understanding how to solve their own problems. Once children learn to solve their problems, the bad behavior disappears.
